Interesting concept, but its a bit pricey and they shame you for requesting take out.
Great food. Locally sourced ingredients, prepared with exquisite care by a talented chef who knows how to use them. Very satisfying.
The place looks pretty average, definitely below the price level they charge. The menu is a work of art with even the most trivial words replaced by French esoteric (regional?) equivalents. My wife is fluent in French, but even she didn't know the meaning of half of the words on the menu . Well, at least the menu kept us occupied for some time while we waited for our food. Based on our overall experience, the menu seemed rather pretentious after the fact.
At the price level of this place, we expected pretty good food, but it was just average, if that. There was some bitter taste to scallops and T bone was kind of blah.
On top of that, we had to wait one hour and ten minutes to get our food. The server would just come every 15 minutes and cheerfully announce the food is going to be ready "in a minute". When we asked at one hour mark why we have to wait so long, the server became upset and said, well, you know, "we had to serve four couples first who came just before you".
It should be noted, that we were coming from the trail and were dressed in our active outdoor clothes. I can only speculate that they gave preferential service to their regular customers or better dressed people, who knows? In any case, the whole experience left bitter taste in our mouth - I would not recommend this place. Our visit was on Sep 9, 2017 and our server was Steph.
We had really bad experience here. We have ordered scallops ($27) and T bone steak ($31).
We were reccomended this place from our Hosts at an AirBnB and it did not disappoint! We didn’t have a long wait, the food came out hot & the chef made rounds to each table making sure everything came out right! Very personable and friendly staff. I had a steak cooked the way I perfered & my boyfriend had the shark. The mashed potatoes & vegetables were a nice addition! Average restaurant environment inside but great food!
The chef goes out of his way to put the best ingredients in his dishes. The staff are friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. There is nothing like it around if you want some delicious quality food!
